Plain terms for a small app that keeps your pickleball history on your own phone.

Pickleball Log is licensed, not sold, to you for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to this app in full. These terms add to it and, where they differ, these terms govern between you and Pickleball Log.
Recording your sessions is free, at every court, for as long as you use the app. What requires a subscription is the calculated layer beyond the last 90 days — all-time statistics, comparisons between seasons, and the rest of the arithmetic.
Nothing you record is ever hidden from you. Your full history, notes and photos are always visible, and you can export everything as CSV at any time, on any tier.
Cancelling ends access to the paid statistics. It never touches your sessions, photos, notes or any other record — those are on your device and stay there, readable and exportable, whether or not you ever pay.
Pickleball Log detects sessions using iOS geofencing. It is accurate but it is not perfect: sessions will occasionally be missed, recorded with the wrong times, or recorded when you were only passing. Detection also stops entirely if you force-quit the app, which is an iOS behaviour outside our control. Every session can be added, corrected or deleted by hand for exactly this reason.
Do not rely on Pickleball Log as your only record of anything that matters. Export your data periodically if it is important to you.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for lost data, missed sessions, or decisions made on the basis of what the app reports.
Your records are stored on your device and are yours. We hold no copy and claim no rights over your notes, photos or anything else you put into the app. See the privacy policy.
Do not use the app to break the law, and do not attempt to interfere with other people's devices or accounts through it. There is not much else to say: the app talks to no one.
These terms may change as the app does. The current version is always at this address with its effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it; if you do not, stop using the app and, if you wish, cancel any subscription through Apple.
