Pickleball Log

Support

Most questions are about detection — when it fires, when it doesn't, and how to fix a session it got wrong.

Get in touch

Email support@ancientcitylabs.app. Tell me which iPhone and iOS version you are on, the court involved, and roughly when it happened — that is usually enough to work out what the app saw.

Detection

A session was not recorded

The usual causes, in the order they are worth checking:

Open the app and it will catch up on anything it recorded while it was closed. If the session is genuinely missing, add it by hand — it counts exactly the same.

A session has the wrong times

Open it from History and correct them. Corrections are permanent: the app will not overwrite them later, and it shows what it originally thought so you can judge whether to trust it next time.

A session is still running after I left

It means the departure was never noticed. Open the app and end it from the card at the top of the home screen, or correct the end time afterwards. Arriving at another tracked court also closes it.

A session I never played

Delete it from History. Deleting is permanent and the app will not recreate it. Note that any court fee it recorded stays on your spending — you paid it either way — and you can delete that separately from the Money tab.

Battery

Pickleball Log uses geofencing rather than continuous GPS: iOS wakes the app when a boundary is crossed and the app is otherwise not running. In testing this has not produced a drain that stands out from ordinary phone use. If you see something different, please say so — it is the kind of report that is hard to get any other way.

Your data

Getting it out

Profile → Export writes your sessions, expenses and equipment as CSV files and hands them to the iOS share sheet — AirDrop them to a Mac, save to Files, or email them to yourself. They are yours, in a format any spreadsheet opens.

Getting a new phone

Your Pickleball Log data is part of your normal iPhone backup, so restoring a backup to a new phone brings it with you. There is no account to sign into, and nothing to transfer manually.

Deleting it

Delete the app. Everything goes with it, because it was never anywhere else.

Privacy

Covered in full on the privacy page. The short version: nothing is collected, and nothing is sent to us.
